Cheddar Gorge, England

This gorge is located near the village of Cheddar, home of the cheese of the same name. It is recognized as the largest in Great Britain, and it is also known for the fact that the oldest fully preserved human skeletons were found here. The age of the remains is about nine thousand years, that is, people lived here in the Neolithic period. The limestone cliffs above the gorge were formed millions of years ago, during the Ice Age.
